Several British media outlets such as Sky News and The Independent reported that tens of thousands of people held a parade in London on the 21st, expressing support for Palestine and calling for an end to Israel’s bombing of the Gaza Strip.

According to Reuters, the London police estimated that 100000 people participated in the parade that day, with some protesters shouting the slogan “Free Palestine”, some holding up signs, and others holding Palestinian flags. The report added that some protesters shouted slogans and held up signs strongly opposing Israel.

According to the Guardian, this is a scene of Palestinian supporters marching in London on the 21st.

It was reported that a demonstrator told Reuters, “As a Palestinian who hopes to return home one day, and as a Palestinian who has brothers and sisters and other families living in Gaza, I hope we can do more. Protest is what we can do now”.

According to previous reports by multiple foreign media outlets such as “Russia Today”, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) launched a rocket attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip on the 7th. Israel subsequently launched strikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, leading to the outbreak of a new round of conflict between Palestine and Israel. As of now, the conflict has resulted in thousands of deaths on both sides. With the new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict arousing global attention, the “battlefield sentiment” between Jews and Arabs has also spread to the world. France, Canada and other countries have announced strengthening security measures for Jewish communities, churches, and schools within their borders to prevent riots.
